I heard those rumors but that was years ago when it was a different format. These are totally different tournaments. These are team events, and the old ones were individual so you were competing vs the guy on the back of the boat if you had one. The rumor to how they cheated was if 1 guy on the boat caught a good fish and a chance to win, and the other competitor on his boat had fish they would combine and split the pot later. That's not possible now.

Its $30, I spend that much on fuel! People will always cheat whether in business, studies and life! Have fun, fish and hopefully come out ahead of those looking for an easier way to win!

I deleted the part of this post where I FLAMED out on the green horn. If you saw that, I apologize. Obviously someone else is talking about cheating, he heard about it and then decided to post about it....

That club that started the cheating talk is pretty much no more. A few of the old group gets together from time to time, but the regular tournaments are pretty much over with. That is what this kind of talk does to a tournament.

Yes, and TBD. We are taking about trying out Canyon this Sunday morning and maybe extending the hours a little...

Have fished several of these and enjoyed them. When will you know if canyon or Dunlap?

Just moved to Marble Falls a couple months ago and I am wanting to fish this tournament.....I'm confused though...is there a tournament on Dunlap or not? Is it TBD? Or are we talking about two different tournaments?

Anyone have a back seat open for Sunday tourney? Have my own boat and gear but it's located in austin and go to school in sa. To much of a hassle to drive back and forth so if anyone is willing to let me jump on the back ill cover whatever expenses needed.
