Fished from 10:30 am til 5:00 pm Thursday 2-7-13. Caught about 40 whiting, mostly small ones, with 10 keepers. Used dead shrimp on a #1 bait holder hook with a no roll slide weight, as I was missing them on a #1 circle. Bait stealers extraordinaire! Didn't catch anything other than whiting and didn't see anyone catch anything else. After a dry haul at Rollover Pass 3 weeks ago, it was a good day.
This morning I caught the ferry and went to Rollover since I heard they were catching a few flounder on the bay side near the bulkheads, but the north wind was just too strong. Saw a guy standing on the south side of a porta potty trying to rig up his lines and that pretty much made up my mind. Had a great time overall and want to say thanks to Robert and Jim for their input.
