The Texas Tackle and Hunting Show is here to bring the BIGGEST tackle event ever in the central United States. Buy fishing equipment and product for pennies on the dollar for your upcoming season. The Show will be held at the Mesquite Event Center, with all free parking. This event will have more wholesale tackle exhibitors than any show in Texas, with hundreds of items discounted below retail prices. We market to all genders and ages through our products and entertainment. Come meet Troy Landry and Jacob Landry from the Swamp People series on HISTORY . Friday Night is Kids Night! Jan 11th 5:00pm kicks off kids night and we extend our show hours to 10pm for those scrambling parents trying to make it out. The first 500 kids will get free hunting and fishing products from sponsoring companies. The kids will have a blast with all the hunting and fishing interactive games, such as Paintball Shooting, Laser Hunt Shooting, Archery Shooting, and Fishing in the Pond where every kid will catch a fish. Kids are the future of the great outdoors, so bring them to the show to experience and learn what it�s all about. Kids night tickets will be handed out starting at 5pm, so Don�t Be Late!

Saturday is the �Red Balloon� sale. Get the best deals of the whole year through 5 minute red balloon specials from participating vendors. We will have red balloons at specific booth locations for show special sales that will only be found during that time under the red balloons.

So Who is coming?

Guys we talked to promoter and this is going to be a awesome show.Compass Adventures/ProVision Lures will be there and along with our fatherless boys.

Here is a few people who will be there this year. Elite series pro and angler of the year Brett Chapman, Crappie pro Todd Huckabee, 25 year experienced Bass guide Chuck Justice, and Catfishing legend Danny King. We are still working on getting new entertainment and pros to come for 2013. Please check back for more updates. Will keep everyone posted.

Arlington, yes. Mesquite, NO.

I hope the Mesquite venue works out. The show was the best during the Mesquite years but that Big Town Expo center was dangerous. It was old and run down. I will attend this show.

We definitely agree that that facility was a little old and out dated for a good tradeshow. The Mesquite Convention Center with the Hampton Inn & Suites connected to it is a great facility. We also have the Mesquite Rodeo Arena rented out for the weekend as well. Both the Expo and Arena are connected by walkway on property for easy access and transition to both. We have both close to being full of a great variety of vendors. We have also added a 3-D Archery competition and the Texas State Waterfowl Calling Contest since we have expanded to the Arena. We are bringing some great things together for Mesquite to have a strong show again.
Arlington, 10$ parking. Mesquite, Free Parking. That's a huge plus in my book. Mesquite YES!

I don't think Brent Chapman will be there. He will be at a show in KC that weekend.

Cant wait to see how this show turns out! There's a huge area to really show off a LOT of tackle vandors! The beauty is it wont take 10 minutes to see it all!! I like spending a lot of time in tackle shows!
