With permission and a key to the gate I headed to Lake Palestine. Started off fishing 10 to 14 feet deep water and only caught a hand full of keepers, took me while to figure out there was Not enough bait fish in the area. Time to move. On my way out I found a TOAD sitting in the captain's chair of a sunken V Bottom Boat!

I marked the spot, circled around, tossed out a buoy marker, dropped down and took a (censored) whooping. What a toad! Long story short I lost her.....grrrrrr. Time to move. Found timber in 22 foot of water and fish that were 14 to 18 foot deep. Caught a....

at 21 foot deep. The 12 to 15 inch blue cats were driving me crazy so it was time to move again. I was SSing a bank and found a single lay down log about 10' long in 17' deep water with a toad sitting beside it, marked the spot, dropped the buoy, circled around, dropped down and she ate it!
