The South 40 Committee is proud to announce the expansion of the South 40 Shootout into the Texas Farm Bureau Insurance South 40 Trail.
The Trail will consist of 4 qualifiers and the South 40 Shootout Championship. The first qualifier will be on Lake Waco September 15th. Other qualifiers will be Lake Limestone in October, Lake Belton in January, Lake Whitney in February, and the Championship South 40 Shootout on Lake Waco in March.
Trail Details:
- $175 entry ($200 late entry) until qualified
- $125 ($150 late) once qualified
- Must fish at least 2 qualifiers
- Top 10 from each qualifier, after taking out already qualified teams
- Top 10 in points after taking out already qualified
- Last year's Shootout Champion automatically qualifies for Championship
- Fish all four qualifiers to automatically qualify for Championship
- Prepay discount of $600 for all 4 qualifiers (must be paid prior to first qualifier)

We will be setting up at the boat ramp to make it easier to weigh in. We have past the 50 mark and are still going strong. We are looking forward to a great trail. This has to be the funnest way to raise money for scholarships!!!

We will takeoff and check-in at the Twin Bridges Ramp. The weigh-in will also be at the Twin Bridges Ramp.

The next Qualifier is this Saturday at Lake Waco. 75 will be our full field number so if we get more than that we will add to the payout. Make sure to get in before Wednesday and only pay $175.

Why on the web page it says big bass payouts are 500 and 250 but 2nd big bass got 200 in last tourney.
