Thanks Jerry. Already had it on my calender from an earlier post that you made.
Hopefully, its a little warmer this coming January. Went from 75 deg. F on Friday to darn cold on Saturday night.
Looking forward to being there, count me in for one of the single mens cabins.

Do you allow daily drop-ins? New to tying, may check it out.

Bob-
Can't speak for Jerry, but at this year's tying, people could show up for as long as they want. I would suggest that you come early Saturday morning and stay late. People bring plenty of food, and there is a full commercial kitchen in the building, for prep and serving. After Sat. dinner, we built a bon fire, roasted marshmallows, and sang songs to a guitar accompaniment. There was also an auction of some cool fishing stuff.
A great time to meet other tiers, share techniques, and make new friends. Just let Jerry know so that he can accomodate you.

Bob-
Forgot to mention that TFO had a full display of their rods which you could try out, we also had accuracy contests, and there were several casting instructors present who would work with you on your casting.

Thanks, Bill. I am into tenkara now. Western fly fishers may not like that.

Yes. you can come for a day or three. TFO will be there as well as a couple of other manufacturers. We'll have a whole covey of CCI's coming and going who love to help folks learn to cast or improve on their cast. Activities are being planned for the non-tying/fishing folks as well such as the winery tour and tasting, antique tour, and a historical tour. Something for the whole family. And, yes Gene I've been feeding the worms in my worm bed so they'll be fat and sassy before the Rendezvous!!!

I'm looking forward to attending this. Just the idea of a little cooler weather is mighty appealing.

Bob Hopefully TFO will have their new Tenkara style rod by then.

This event sounds great. I love bonham state park. Caught some nice bass and crappie there. Also nice mirror carp.
I tend to over think fishing. Please help me. When I am over complicating something please kick me in the face. Hard.

Sounds like a fun event and I've never been to Bonham State Park.

How much just to visit at the event? Got a state park pass and have RV if I wanted to camp.
