Depends on a few factors.

What type of crankbait?

What type of structure will you be fishing?

Hard to go wrong with 12 or 15 lb big game for the majority of your cranking needs

It's cheap enough to just change out anytime your going

You cannot get it at Academy, but I do all my CBing on McCoys Mean green or Gamma copoly. VERY strong, very abrasion resistent, NO MEMORY make it an IDEAL CB line. I would go with 15 in your situation. If you can ony shop at Academy, I would go with Big Game, just change it out every month. Hope this helps.

Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

McCoys Mean Green is good line. I have been using it for over 25 years now.

Go with Big Game and get some Line and Lure to help relax the memory.
