The 9th stop of the 2012 Bass Pro Shop Grapevine Series will be on Sunday July 29th at Lake Grapevine. This will be the final series qualifying tournament of the season prior to the two-day championship in August.

Registration and angler check-in will open at 4:00am at the Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine. Anglers will be allowed to proceed to their fishing spots. First cast at 5:00am and last cast at 12:00pm. Weigh-in will be held "Classic Style" at the Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine. Anglers must be checked-in no later than 1:00pm at the stage to weigh their catch.

HOURS: 5:00AM - 1:00PM

WEIGH-IN: AT BASS PRO SHOP FROM 1:00PM - 2:00PM

This will be the final championship qualifying event of the season. Those teams that need their (4th) event to qualify for the championship will need to compete at this event.

Should the forecast for Sunday call for temperatures to exceed 100 degrees, we will move the weigh-in up one hour to 12:00pm instead of 1:00pm. I will let everyone know at registration.

BREAKING NEWS...DILLARD IS INJURED. I REPEAT DILLARD IS INJURED.

So I have a buddy we call "Big Mike". Now we call him Big Mike because he is about the size of Brock Lesnar. So we are at the pool on Sunday having a friendly little game of water volleyball. So I thought. So me being the super competitive guy I am decide I am going to spike on him. Well I did....what a bad idea. Next time we meet at the net a ball comes floating up there and I go to block. Now keep in mind I weigh about 165 he weighs about 365. One of his arms are as big as my upper body. CRACK! Wrist hyper extends to places I didn't know my wrist could go. I couldn't cast or hold a rod and reel if I wanted to. So I have been icing the heck out of it. I got till Sunday to recover. Start saying all your prayers.
