I like that anticipation you get as soon as you see your line slowly start swimming away to the side. Especially on a jig. Big fish have a certain speed they swim off at that I cannot describe but I can tell you when I see it. That split second is 99.9% of the reason I go out and chase them green fish.

For me it's the whole process, Getting up early in the morning, preparing a day or two before, tossing and turning the night before not being able to sleep in anticipation. The smell of 2-stroke the morning of, listening for your launch # to be called out. Heading to that first magical spot.Feeling the cool breeze on face and hearing the rumble of the outboard as you plot a course to the fertile hunting grounds. Hell, I even appreciate the rough days when the master plan goes wayward and you have to scramble and grind the entire day just to be competitive. I LOVE THE WHOLE PROCESS!
