Beautiful overcast day and not having been out in over a month, just had to wet a line. Went out at 10:30 and came back in at 3:30. Surface temps 89 to 91, water color clear to slight stain, fished deep trees. Picked up six fish over the slot,one in slot and one under with big fish going a heavy 6 to 7 lbs. I did lose another heavy fish that got into some pads and pulled free. Slot fish came on a senko (watermelon red) and all other fish came on a 10" Lake Fork worm (blue bruiser).

Sounds like a great day. You do any frog fishing on Caddo?

I know you're new here and all, and welcome but we gonna be upset if you don't post some pictures.

Claysefus, I always have my cell phone with me and never think about taking a picture. I've lived on and fished Caddo Lake for over 30 years and think I've taken maybe 2 to 3 pictures of fish I've caught. The Bass Life Trophy Replica Program on Caddo takes pictures of your trophy bass when you submit one for a mount or a hat pin and I know I have more pictures from them than I take. Louisiana Bass Life Associates will give you a replica mount of any bass 10 lbs or over, fund 75% of 9 to 9.99 lbs or 50% on a 8 to 8.99 lber that is caught and weighed at a weigh-in station and released. The Texas weigh station is Johnson Ranch and the Louisiana weigh station is the sheriff sub station at Earl Williamson Caddo Lake Park.

Coach yes i do, live on Marshall Brake. I was back out today and all fish were slot fish off of deeper trees and unders from schools on top water.

Oh I just like seein pictures of caddo. Don't live far but don't get out there enough.
