I will change out the rear hook for the next larger size (like replace #6 with #4), but only if this doesn't cause the original hook and larger hook to catch (tangle) on each other.
In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

I heard LFT has developed a trailer hook that works for a spro frog. I haven't found it online (haven't looked real hard). Anyone know where to find it other than driving out to Emory?

Tackle Warehouse.Even though I don't throw Frogs hardly at all, those seem like they would work great! I throw buzz baits and small Skittewalks with some success.

OK, I am going to get shot at for this and I know it but a bubble gum pink weightless floating work KILLS! The fish can't stand em. If I had a second choice I would have t say it ain't easy being green. The frog is hard to beat.

Different top waters at different times of the year. In April I was slaying the fish on white/chart buzz baits. All day long some days. Now just about any hollow body frog is what Im throwing. I fish 4 lakes and all 4 are currently having about the same bite. This year I finally started throwing the frog in open water, over points, etc... and have really started picking up fish that I would have never thought about using a top water on. Of course the thick slop is where it really excells. Last night my 1st fish of the evening during a weekly tourny I caught a "frog" fish just before 7pm walking it on the shady side of a boat dock. So you never know when or where they will hit it.

I love the H20 bone white topwaters from academy, they are great! They tend to catch fish for me almost every evening I'm out. Also a big fan of the booyah black buzzbait in the mornings and evenings. They seem to blow up on that dragging it parallel to grass protruding from the water. That's all the topwater I'm throwing at the moment.
