Benbrook Saturday Night Working Man Series starts this Saturday May 12,
2012!

"The Best on Benbrook 2012"

Where: Benbrook Marina on beautiful Lake Benbrook.

When: Saturday Evenings from 6 pm to 12 am. You must be inside the
marina bowie by 12 am!

... Entry: 5.00 launch fee, 30.00 per team/boat, optional 10.00 big bass
rollover for the biggest bass over 7 pounds.

Big Bass rollover: The pot starts to build Saturday May 12th and will
only pay out when a bass over 7 is weighed in. Each team/boat must be
current on big bass entries in order to qualify (example: if you didn't
fish the first 2 tournaments, you must pay 20.00 to get caught up and
then 10.00 for that nights tournament in order to compete for big bass).
The big bass pot will start over once its broken, and its then open for
everyone to enter. BIG BASS IS OPTIONAL

Sponsor Prizes: A prize package from all of the above sponsors will be
awarded to the team/boat with the most WINS at the end of the series,
along with a "best on benbrook" plaque for both team members. Fish as
many or as few tournaments as you wish, everyone is eligible for this
prize and it does not require fishing every event!

Rules:
3 fish limit, 14 inches or higher
no livebait
no trolling
livewell check required by marina staff or TD
take off in order of entry
must be checked in at the marina, paid, registered, and live wells
checked prior to being eligible to start fishing
no complaining, whining, crying, or unsportsmanlike like conduct! please
respect the marina property and your fellow anglers!

Do we have to launch at the marina or can we come by for a livewell check at start time?

Just come by for the livewell check. No need to launch from the marina.

Gentle Ben must have embarrassed them.

Brazos Bass Cat won it with 9 pounds. He also had big bass of around 7.5 pounds so the Big Bass pot will start over for the next tournament. There were only 4 entries, so hopefully it will grow in entries as more people find out about it and as it gets hotter through the summer.

These tournaments will be every Saturday night now through the summer, so come on out and tell your friends!

I will be out there this Saturday to join ya'll and others to come.

Congratulations Brazos Bass Cat! Hope these continue so I can get a chance to fish one or two.

I got there 30 minutes late and it was cancelled. Drove all the way there for NOTHING !!!!!
