80% payback w/added money on sunday. fish fry at 5pm sat.
all paid places on sat advance to sun. fish off.
You can fish anywhere in the state of TX as long as you are on time for the weigh in.
Fishing starts at 12:01am on sat with weigh in at 7pm on sat.
entrys have to be in by 6pm fri. or you can pay at the pre tourn. meeting held at lake palestine resort at 6pm.

Also will have fish fry on sat. Spectators are welcome at the fish fry and the weigh in.

We will also have several news crews at the weigh in. Texas Lonestar outdoor news will have a cameraman on our boat. Spectators are more than welcome to come and see the weigh ins and enjoy the fish fry. There is also RV sites and Rooms available thru Lake Palestine Resort. Come and enjoy the fun.

I had no idea that TPWD had legalized noodling in the State of Texas. I like others think you guys are nuts, there are some alligator snapping turtles in these waters that could take a hand off.

How did this event turnout? Kind of thought this was early in the year to catch any big fish....in my experience the big yellowcats usually don't head to the holes until mid-June.

No sir, We start finding them as soon as the surface temp hits 70 for about a week.

Are the Tedder's Husband, Wife and Son or Cousins? Just Curious and yes I agree, there is no way in haties I stick my hand in the holes down here or anywhere. To many Varments with teeth and big jaws.

No way I would be sticking my hand in a big catfish's mouth!

Any idea if there will be any other Texas noodling events this summer?

Don't know of anymore. I will be holding a circuit next year though, so keep my info. We did have a good haul as well. We culled fish all day Sat. We pulled 29 flats in the 40 pound range. 1 in the 50's and about 40 in the 30's. Sun. was a carbon copy pretty much. To say the least we all look like we've been in a battle with a wire wheel grinder!!!
