Is there a reel shop in longview. My favorite, lucky reel(abu garcia 5600) wont catch and need to get it to a reel shop.

East Texas Sonar on HWY 259 has a guy who fixes reels. He picks them up twice a week. He also does rod repair.

His name is Randy. He is good on reel repair and rod repair. He will also set you up with a fine custom rod to your specs. Not bad on prices either. 80-140 will get you one nice rod. If I had his number I'd post it but I lost it. Just call and ask go his number and they'll hook you up.

If you are closer to Gladewater Tommy Stanley does an excellent job. He used to work for Winchesters 903 845-4411

Yea, Tommy Stanley. That's his name. Don't know why I thought it was Randy. Thank you for posting that. I like to see him get business. He does a great job.
