Ima be doing a lot of soft plastic fishing this summer/fall and I was wanting info on the proper rod and reel setup.
Any advice would be much appreciated

I fish a 7'6" shimano crucial series rod with power pro 50 lb braid or switch out with 12lb suffix mono when its a tougher bite

Medium heavy rod...at least 7 ft. I would use mono unless you are really trying to throw into some thick stuff.
 fatty has more posts than you. I have more beer in my garage right now than you!
