What kind of lubricant is best to use on the Teleflex mechanical rotary cable? Current lubricant (grease) has become very sticky. Plan on removing cable, clean and re-lube.

I used (think it is called cable buddy) or something like that from Bass Pro. You buy a kit and it comes with a new steering nut for the motor mount and you then pump a synthetic oil into it, the new nut keeps the oil from leaking out.
