The 2nd Annual Bass-n-Babies Fundraiser Tournament on Lake O the Pines will be March 24, 2012. Proceeds from the event Benefit Hannah House Maternity Home located between Longview and Gilmer.

$1,000 guarantee for 1st place.
Total payout for 5-fish stringer will be ~50%
Payout for Big Bass will be 100%
Check-in and weigh-in will be at the Sandy Beach/Lakeside Park Pavilion. Anglers will be able to trailer to their preferred launch locations after check-in.

Additional information, web links, rules, sponsors etc will be posted as the date gets closer.

We had 30 entries at last year's event and paid out over $2,500 in cash and over $300 in prizes and give-aways. You can check out some of last year's results at:

We are currently looking to round up and close out our event sponsors for the tournament next March. Anyone interested in sponsoring the event can PM me on here or email me at goodie1977 at yahoo dot com. The deadline for sponsors to be placed on event advertising flyers is January 9th. Flyers will be posted throughout Feb and March. Sponsorships after Jan 9 will be given recognition on the website, on here, and through signage at the event.

4 sponsorship levels are available:

Platinum Sponsors ($2000 or above) will receive advertising in the form of logo and name on event flyers, event cards/hand-outs (see proofs), event website, on 2� x 4� banner at weigh-in Pavilion, and two or more 18�x24� yard signs at weigh-in.

Gold Sponsors ($1000-2000) will receive advertising in the form of name or logo placed on event flyers (see proof), sponsor name placed on event cards/hand-outs (see proof), name and logo placed on event website, and two 18�x24� yard signs at weigh-in.

The deadline for Platinum and Gold Sponsors to be included on flyers or handouts is January 9, 2012.

Silver Sponsors ($500-999) will receive name or logo placed on event website and one 18�x24� yard sign at weigh-in.

Bronze Sponsors ($200-499) will receive name listed on event website and one 18�x24� yard sign.

Donation of goods and services in lieu of cash is acceptable. Sponsorship level shall be determined based upon retail value. All sponsors and donors, regardless of level, shall be given recognition at weigh-in.

The Hannah House mission is to �reach out to teens and young women in a crisis pregnancy situation; to provide an alternative to abortion such as adoption or parenting; to develop better decision making, life, and parenting skills; to further education; to build stronger belief and understanding of the family; to glorify God and share His word and answers for today's world.�
Hannah House Maternity Home is a 501c(3) organization that relies solely on the support of the local community to perform this mission. Hannah House is located between Longview and Gilmer, TX. Hannah House was previously founded in Glen Rose, TX in 1999 and relocated to East Texas in September of 2010.

Bass n Babies 2012 RULES
GENERAL:
1. The decision of the Tournament staff is final in all matters and is not subject to appeal. Interpretation of these rules will be left exclusively to the Tournament staff. All protest must be made in person before tournaments winnings are dispersed.
2. Anglers shall follow all federal, state, and local laws and regulations at all times.
3. Only spotted or largemouth bass 14 inches or greater will be weighed.
4. No trolling under outboard power. No live bait. Only one rod per angler shall be used at a time.
FORMAT:
5. Tournament is a 5 fish bag limit. Bag limit is per 2-man team/per boat.
6. Big Bass shall be awarded to the angler with the heaviest legal fish weighed.
PAYOUT:
7. Payouts shall be per payout schedule posted at www.plministries.org and at Check-in
8. All ties for cash prizes will be split equally between contending parties.
CHECK-IN & TAKE-OFF:
9. Check-in shall include live well checks on all boats and safety equipment checks at the discretion of tournament staff.
10. Check-in shall be conducted at Lakeside Park (aka Sandy Beach) Pavilion.
11. Boats that do not complete check-in will not be permitted to weigh-in.
12. Trailering is allowed. You will be able to leave check-in no more than thirty (45) minutes before start time, either by vehicle or boat, BUT you may not begin fishing until official start time.
WEIGH-IN:
13. At least 1 angler from each team must be present at Weigh-in by scheduled time.
14. Late arrivals to weigh-in will be penalized 1/4lb per minute and disqualified after 15 minutes.
15. Iced or altered fish will not be weighed in and will result in disqualification from the tournament. Every effort must be made to keep bass alive through the use of a properly aerated livewell. If you bring a dead fish to the scales, you will be penalized one-half (1/2) pound per fish off your team�s total weight. Dead fish may not be culled
SAFETY:
16. Life vests and kill switches must be worn when under outboard power.
17. No alcohol permitted prior to take-off, during tournament hours, or at weigh-in.
18. For event safety all teams which exit the tournament prior to weigh-in are requested to report to tournament officials before departing.
SCHEDULE:
19. Registration and Check-In open at 5:30am, Start Time is 7am, and Weigh-in is 4pm.
20. Tournament shall be conducted regardless of weather conditions. Schedule changes, reschedules, or cancellations for inclement weather shall be made at the discretion of Tournament staff.
21. In the event of reschedule, tournament shall be conducted on the following available weekend. Refunds of entry fees will not be provided for a rescheduled event.
SPORTSMANSHIP:
22. Please remember, that this event is a fundraiser and conduct yourself with good sportsmanship at all times.
