I hope they are right when they say this is supposed to be the premiere Walleye Lake. They have heavily stocked it,and Somerville County is charging heavily to fish it.

Seems like a big enough lake to allow idle only. No gas motor allowed to be operated. Hope that does not spread to other lakes

You don't need gas on a lake that small.

I saw that Yaks and canoes don't count towards the total count on the lake so that will be my route when I decide to go.

Two out of county guys and one boat will be $40?? That is my understanding for a weekend. When I first visited the lake in July 2010 the fee was $50 for a boat launch plus entry fees for the occupants. The Somervell Water District reduced the fees to the present level in September 2010 as a result of complaints.
