I just bought an $110000 fish master bay boat, I also have a skeeter and fish freshwater every day, now and I have no idea where the fish are in saltwater. I also would like to know what channel to use on my vhf radio to talk to fellow fishers. Thanks

Are you talking about Redfish Bay at Aransas Pass or somewhere else?

Generally speaking the saltwater bays are shallow; 12 ft. or less, except for the channels.

This time of year you'll want to find fish hanging over grass and sand in 5-6 ft of water mid-day. Early morning and late evening they'll move shallow as the water cools. They will often follow the bait.

You'll want to fish drainages, cuts, channels, & passes between islands while the tide is moving.

Fish flats adjacent to deeper waters early/late.

Sometimes mid-day fishing can be good at deeper water wells and other structure mid-bay.

Yes I was talking about aransas pass. Thanks for the help!!! We fished alot yesterday and today all we caught was a sun burn haha. I tried free lining mullet and shrimp, tried them on a bobber. And tried them on the bottom. Nothing worked, we fished alot by the light house, pot hole jumping, but still nothing.

What depth were you fishing?

Try 3-4ft early/late and 6 ft. or so mid-day.
