Only stayed a few hours but managed 3 decent fish.
I didn't have to hook this gar, he decided he was going to wrap my line up in his teeth. Sure made "unhooking" him easy though.
Next fish came abt 30 minutes later, not really the size I was after but he was a good 5 maybe 6 lbs
Right as I was setting the above cat back in the water my surf rod started screaming. I tossed the fish and the fight was on. Landed this pretty scrappy blue. I wish I took some close ups cause this fish looked like it had been through hell and back. his back was scarred up and his dorsal spine looked like it was broken some time ago cause it was missing about a 1/4" piece in the middle.
All in all it was a good night
