I know it is not the best pic, my neighbors cat got it in the house, I did not kill it. I am sure it is non venemous but would like to know what it is. Thanks

Wish you would of gotten a better pic, but it looks like a rat snake to me.

plus 2 on the dead snake but it also looks like alot of different snakes

How small was it? More than likely a Brown Snake if it was under 10 inches. They are very common around here and cats find them quite often. There heads can be very dark or very light and the picture looks like it had a fairly darker color head.
