I'm hitting up texoma this weekend and I want to land some whites/stripers. I've never been there and need some pointers. We have a guide on Friday but the rest of the time we will be on our own. Anything would help!

I am headed up there too, I think. I am waiting to see the wind forecast. I booked my campsite way back. You have to for Memorial weekend. I may cancel on Weds. dependent on the forecast. Texoma and striper fishing end of May and in to June are a tradition for me. I have heard that they are a little behind from the normal patterns this year. I believe the spawn was a little late. My top spots are anywhere on the Table Top ledge. Preston Point around to Washita and down to Grandpappy is where I start. The mouth of Soldier Creek around to Washita can be good too. I have seen years where they were suspended in the channels which is not normally a May early June pattern. One year I slayed them in Little Mineral and never went north of Grandpappy's. Normally this is live bait season but when the shad are spawning topwaters early on the bank work good.
