Sounds like it could be fun! TPWD trying to thin the Amur out finally? Lol.

This will be a kill tournament. There will be a cold truck on hand to store the fish in. TPWD has to have a count of all of those taken out.
Details are also being worked out for a bow-fishing tournament that night as well.

This will be a kill tournament. There will be a cold truck on hand to store the fish in. TPWD has to have a count of all of those taken out.
I figured, since it's White Amur, and TPWD put too many in lol. I was just wondering if I attended, after TPWD counted my fish and I weighed them in for the tourney, if I'd then be able to eat some of them hehe. I've heard their great, but haven't been able to try them fresh. I'd fry some, and half shell grill some hehe. Just a thought.

Frankly, I'd offer 'em a beer and have a drink with 'em. We'd all be working towards the same goal at that point, after all.

out of all the hours ive put in carp fishing, and the few amount of grass carp ive caught, i dont think ill be bringing in any "hourly" fish sacks... as a matter of fact im not even sure if i can catch a grasses in 8 hours?
plus, where in the heck can you bank fish on lake conroe? ide need to see a deatailed map of bank fishing "OK" zones. last time i went to conroe i didnt get to fish because i couldnt find a place to fish from the bank!
