How many of you guys use Sta-bil when you fill up your boat.
Last week I was one who didn't.
Now I have crossed over to the other side.
It took a dose of "Start Your Engines" to get the water out of my motor, but I saw first hand how ethanol gas gums your pipes.

I had to use my trolling motor to get to timber to catch crappie.
Maybe that's good enough to keep this in the crappie section.

Use to, but since I like all the things that Star Tron Enzyme Treatment does and last longer I use it now. Heck it cleans you motor inside and last 2 years and longer. It will even make gas that has gone bad good again or so they say. Also you can't over dose it and can even use it if you already have Sta-bil in your gas now.

I used the red sort of hit-N-miss but when I bought the new boat, there hasn't been a gallon of gas go in it without the "blue" traetment. Then last year when I read about the ethanol problem and the different treatments, I started mixing Star Tron with my Stabil and I don't have a worry in the world.... except sometimes where to find the crappie.

I didn't know a thing about the Star Tron till this morning.
I looked it over and read the info
but decided to go with the Sta-bil for the removal of the water in my system. I may add the Tron once I get it under control.
The Start My Engine is a product made by Sta-bil, just stronger.
I ran it through in an auxiliary tank to get the water out of the injectors.
Purrs like a kitten now.

Put it in when I know it will be a while before running it , like in the winter or deer season. Then I still like to put some fresh gas (at least a few gallons ) before running it in the spring.

I've never used anything. Does it hurt to put it into about 70 gal. of fuel that has already been in the tank for a few months???

I also put a Racal (believe that is the name) fuel/water separatores on my boat after a $550 repair bill due to ethanol. And always use Stabil.
In response to the above question about adding Stabil to gas that has been in the tank for months, I understand it will not help. And it does not displace water already in gas, only keeps it from getting into the tank to start with. But, I could be wrong on that too.

I use the Stabil Marine in every small engine I own. Motorcycle, ATV, lawnmower, and boat. I saw a huge improvement in my outboard after the first tank. I am a believer now...
