Want to use livewell as storage since I no longer fish tournaments or anticipate need to keep a trophy fish alive. Having trouble figuring out how to shut off water entry into the livewell. Boat is 2008 Nitro Z6. Appreciate any help.

If your livewell has a REC position that should keep any water out...

On my boat the intake and overflow can be blocked from the outside by using a standard sized boat plug. The kind you take out to drain the boat. You will have to take off the intake screen from the outside.
Then if you ever want to get it back working just take the plugs out and put the screen back on.

Will check this out today since I can do that without being on the water. And thanks for the info.
