Got out around 5:15 and searched for about an hour and found 2 fish on a rocky bank. Checked most of the usual spots and could not find the schools anywhere. While checking a couple of spots south of the island I see a few birds working. They were bunched up just enough to take the chance to see if any fish where stacked up below. Did not find them stacked up but I did see enough on the bottom to give it a try. Started catching some small ones here and there while following the ridge line in about about 13 feet of water. Did that till I started catching consistently in spot with the ipilot spotlock set. Wound up catching about 50 with probably 15-20 keepers. All caught in 13 ft of water, on white/chart. Ole ugly with a red/white fly above. Best fishing was 45 min before sundown. It was great to get out to fish with out getting blown all over the place.

Aint that the truth. That wind has been a beast. Lots of bass boats out this evening. I guess they had a tournament.

I owe Karl a tank a gas or a I need to mow his lawn. This is the third time he hooked me and my buddy up on fish. He did so again last night. Thanks again Karl. We could not find them anywhere last night.

He's real bad about that. He did the same for me my first time on E.M. Showed me several good spots. Actually I think it was his daughter, he was just following her instructions.

Your on to something there! Weekend before last she finally got me to change locations, good thing I did. We went from ok fishing to great fishing thanks to her.
