Who: All Kids 13 and under.....older welcome to come fish too!

Whitehouse Yesteryear is once again hosting this event at Lake Tyler. It is absolutely FREE! Plus the first 100 kids 13 and under to show get a free rod and reel combo. This event was a huge success last year we had @135 or so kids and thier families come out and enjoy the day. We will have prize drawing for those anglers that check in a fish. Whitehouse Yesteryear hosts this event to raise awareness of their activities and showcase Whitehouse and Lake Tyler.

We, of course would invite any volunteers and/or sponsors for additional prizes for the kids...or kid friendly prizes whatever they may be.
Also if you have a business in the area that would benifit from the exposure and would like to help, let me know. Our goal is to make this a self sustaining event that exposes families to the fun of fishing and the Whitehouse/Lake Tyler area.

Great event!!! I used to take a groups of boys to the kid fish here in Weatherford each year. It was amazing seeing how much they would pick up each time to the lake!

How does this work, bank fishing or boat fishing?

Really either way, most will be bank but it doesn't matter... they will get a entry into the "fish bowl" prize drawing just for showing up and registering and they get an extra entry for checking in a caught fish during the event hours. At @ 2 we'll draw for prizes....
