I'll be heading to lonestar to prefish for next months tourney. Could anyone give me some pointers about the lake and it's cautions. I've never been there and heard the stumps are thick in areas.

Don't know of too many stumps. There are a couple in the cove across from the county boat ramp. That is the only ones I know about, middle of the lake is wide open so hammer down!

About safe as they come. I would fish north and see if there in the grass, then maybe hit the boat docks. Great little lake.

PM sent. Be careful if you decide to go into the coves west of the main lake. The point is very shallow and runs a LONG way out into the lake. They used to have a bouy on it but I'm not sure if it is still there.
