The original thread went goofy and stopped showing new posts, so here's a new one with a condensed version of the info...

Here's what we have so far...

March 12th,
Tournament Meeting at 7:00 a.m. High View Marina, Payment Due At Meeting.
7:30 Lines out,
3:00 Lines in,
3:30 Weigh-in
Any kind of cats count.
Bardwell has a lot of good channels in it, and we're bound to get on some blues.

Two or three man teams.
$25 per two-man team, $30 for 3 men or more. (This will keep the per-man cost more uniform.)
$5 per man big fish pot
We have some offers for door prizes also including some Ft. Worth Stockyards sauce and a brand new Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6000 with upgraded bearings and washers! Also, we have three free Abu reel cleanings on the table!

We also have a big fish bonus!

Highview Park boat ramp for launch.
Highview Marina has agreed to handle the weigh-in duties. They have TPWD certified scales if we happen to get on a biggun.

I'm just takin' a swing at this, but I want it to be fun all the same.

My BIL and Nephew are in.

They have 7-10 boat slips on the north end to pull your boat into and tie up. They will also be providing BBQ sandwiches for everone at the weigh in for free. Drinks, chips, ect.. will be available for purchase in the marina. They are helping a ton and I can't say enough good things about Sandy and Vic at High View Marina Bardwell.

My boat had been acting up. Good thing I took it to my motor guy. Starter is just about shot and had some water in my fuel. He said he will have me ready for the tourney! Never even driven it on the lake yet and her first time out looks like it will be for the tourney. Time to dominate!!

I'm taking my new to me motor out later today for the first time also Derek.

Color me jealous Steve. I'm sitting here wishing I was wettin' a line. I'm so frustrated with bank fishing lately...I don't have any shad, and I'm almost out of sureshot after my brand new bucket was stolen out of my truck.

How many rods?

As far as I'm concerned, you can fish as many as you have holders for, but I'd say if we're going to put a cap on it, we should say a max of 10. Some of the guys have small boats so they don't have enough room for a bunch of rods. If anyone wants to take a vote, I'm all about doing it democratically. It's all the same to me. I only have 7 rigs, so that's as many as I can fish at once regardless.

Any last minute guys/gals want to hop in?

Since I am handi-capped it would only be fare if I got to use 10 rods.And if everyone one else had 4 that would be ok with me! Yes I think that sounds about right!

I will be entering the tournament on saturday as well hope i can get on the fish either way it will be fun.
