Is this a three fish tournament? Can multiple people fish out of one boat?

Grayson,
It is a one fish big bass, but you can weigh-in up to three fish per preson. You can have as many people in the boat as the coast guard will allow.

So if it is a big bass why do we weigh in the two other smaller fish?

If you had an over and one or two good unders, you could win more then one place. You do not have to weigh three but you have the option.
