Before I go any further, I would like to explain that this is
not the Lonestar Lunkers Club out of San Antonio. We found out after putting hundreds of flyers out on the street and having our first tournament on Lake Austin that there is another Lonestar Lunkers out there. Our bad. We are going to change the name before our January Tournament. Please don't waste your time commenting on this. We know the problem and are fixing it.
Also, we are going to move away from being a "Club". There will be no dues and we are working on finding a way to avoid any membership fees. We want to hold 100% payout, workingman's tournaments.
Tournament Details: All entry fees must be paid by no later than 6:00AM the morning of the tournament. A tournament official will be available from 5:00AM-6:00AM to collect entries.
Entry fee is 60.00 per boat/team. Once your entry is paid, there are no refunds.
Live well checks will be performed from 5:00AM-6:00AM the day of the tournament at the main launch. Failure to be present will result in disqualification.
You can launch as early as 5:30AM. Leave the ramp no earlier than 6:00AM.
Trailering of you boat is allowed to any public access facility on the tournament lake after your entry has been paid and your live wells have been checked.
Fishing begins at 6:30AM. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification.
Weigh in is at 3:00PM. Your boat must be off plane and in side of the buoys at the tournament weigh in ramp by no later than 3:00PM.
The tournament lake is OFF LIMITS 48 hours before the tournament start.
Lifejackets must be worn when the boat is on-plane. We recommend wearing them at all times.
Dead fish will incur a .25 LB penalty per fish.
Dead fish WILL NOT be considered for Big Bass prize.
The teams may have no more than 6 fish in possession at any time and a maximum of 5 fish in possession at weigh in. Solo anglers must abide by state regulations.
Team member changes can be made up to 6:00AM the morning of the tournament.
Artificial baits/lures only, with the exception of pork trailers and Gulp Alive.
All persons in tournament boats must adhere to all lake rules.
All fish must be caught with rod and reel on a hook during the tournament hours.
Cheating will result in disqualification and public ridicule.
Fish that will be considered for the tournaments are Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass and Guadalupe bass
All fish weighed in must be a minimum of 14 or lake regulations, whichever is greater.
All entry fees are to be paid in CASH, no checks, no credit cards. No non-tournament passengers are allowed on tournament boats, with the exception of tournament officials.

Payout will increase by $20.00 per place per additional entry up to 30 teams, at which point, additional payout placings will be added. Right now we don't feel that we need to worry about there being more than 30 boats. If we get a lot of response on here I will finish the payout format and post it as an addendum for up to 50 entries.
Big Bass:The tournament will pay one big bass in the amount of $60.00. There must be at least 5 teams entered in the tournament for this payout.
Big Bass Side Pot:There will be an additional
OPTIONAL big bass side pot, separate from the tournament big bass prize that you can participate in. The entry is an additional $20.00 per team. Winner take all.
