Some of the wood grain laminate is wearing down on my boat and I am just starting to explore my options. Has anyone else had any success laying something different down, changing from the wood grain finish pattern? The boat originally had a tan interior but now has newer black and grey Triton seats and changing the old worn tan carpet out for some new ash grey carpet (That's going to be a fun project next week cry).

The wood grain material looks goods over all, but is worn in a few spots. I thought it might look good with some carbon fiber laminate or contact paper (not sure what they call it), but am also curious about the hydro-dipping I've seen popping up on other applications. I'll do a little more checking into it.. just wondering if anyone has tried anything different?

Here's what I'm working with:

I also have an old disconnected depthfinder in the front that I don't use, anyone know where a guy can get one of those filler plastic squares?

You might see what these guys can do for you. One of the owners of the company I work for, his brothers owns this plastics company. I had them cut black plastic covers for my Triton when I upgraded the electronics on it and wanted to cover the places the old DF's were in, I just gave them the measurments I wanted. They may be able to make suggestions on how to restore or cover your other panels. They are also on facebook, but here is their link.

H&W Marine has the plates for the bow dash panel. They are black and have Triton on them. Looks like you have a x65 in the dash right now. That is what I had that came stock on my Triton. I replaced the panel on the console as well. H&W Marine is just south of Tyler. They gave me mine free gratus, but I bought a new HB 998, HB 586 and MG Digital Tour 84 TM from them. I believe however they would sell them to you pretty cheap.

Evan,
Check with Mark at Pro Control, he has been cutting out panels to replace the graph on the dash & bow.
If you need his information, just let me know.
He also runs a Triton I think the same year as yours.

Thank you,
Shawn Smith
