Going to Cabo in Sept. Anyone have any recomendations for charter boats and Panga's? Will be my first trip there and plan to fish 2 days in a Panga and one day on a charter.

I went out with a guy by the name of Rene Santa Cruz. I don't know if he is a broker or what. My wife and I originally booked a 26' and when we got to the docks he said he had a 32' twin diesel open for the same price. Huh? I don't know if he thought we were going to get sick and want to come back in or what. We left the marina and all the boats went right (Pacific)and we were the only one that went left (Sea of Cortez). I was like [censored], there goes $350 down the tube. It turned out to be the best fishing trip of my life. We were one of the last boats to come in and had the most flags of any boat in the marina. Hooked a blue for a short time, landed two striped marlins along with three Dorados. Awesome time. Can't remember the captain's name, but they were a father and son team. The trips are unbelievelby cheap. $350 is cheap for a 6 hr boat ride! My wife was happy just to cruise around and soak up the sun. his email is: renesantacruz_cabo@yahoo.com phone: (624)-122-21-75
