Things are shaping up very nicely for the first ever Great American Crappie Challenge at Lake Fork on Saturday August 21, 2010. We are thankful for all the assistance we have received from the Crappie Anglers of Texas, KMOO 99.9, Lake Fork
Area Chamber of Commerce, Sulphur Springs Department of Tourism, Lake Fork Marina, The Minnow Bucket, Fisherman's One Stop, and many more local residents and businesses.

Based on the number of online entries and phone calls we have received, it looks like this will be our biggest Challenge for 2010. Sign up online at www.superslabseries.com or in person on Friday August 20 from 3-8 PM at Fisherman's One Stop or Lake Fork Marina.

Thanks to the Sulphur Springs Department of Tourism, we are pleased to announce there will be a $20,000.00 Bonus up for grabs at Awards ceremony that all anglers present at the Awards Ceremony are eligible to win. At least 150 should be expected to fish I mean 20000 dollars bonus in crappie tournament that's crazy good c everyone there.

Hopefully it don't get to be like the mcdonalds bass tournament.

RULE#3

3.Registration and Entry Fee: Entry form with complete entry fee must be received before fishing.
1.No refunds or substitution of entry fees allowed.

2.Registrations will be accepted online until 72 hours before the Challenge start time. Registrations will also be accepted in person at the Challenge Check-in the day before the Challenge and from 5:00-6:30 a.m. the morning of each Event at the designated host weigh-in location.

3.Cash, money order, cashier�s check, and credit card are the only form of payment allowed in the 72 hours prior to the Challenge event.

This is a Crappie Anglers of Texas sanctioned tournament. It it the last tournament for a member to qualify for CAT's Texas State Crappie Championship.

The format for this tournament is very different than other tournaments. Be sure to thouroughly read the rules and become familiar with them to make the most of the strategy that will get you a check(s). I'm sure D Johnston in the PGA Golf Major wish he had read the rules more thouroughly Sunday before teeing off.

The SSS staff have been great to work with. We hope this tournament model becomes a tradition. It only takes one good fish to win big money. Hourly windows and number of places paid make for an interesting payout schedule.
