My family and I are going on our summer vacation near Lake Ouachita and I know Striper Fishing is popular there. I was hoping some one could possibly tell me the best way to catch a striper in Lake Ouachita. Would appreciate the type of bait, the technique, and where in the lake. Thanks for all the replies. smile

I don't fish them much but most of the guides use live shad. If you can find them breaking then a large top water such as C-10 Redfin will catch them on a steady retreive that makes a V with the water. You might have to ask around the Marina where they are breaking but have seen them around the dam this time of year.
