Ok the date is picked. Its April 3rd. The lake is Benbrook.
The format is what we need to discuss. Do we want teams? What entry are we looking to have? 5 per man 10 per man? What about the kids No entry??
I am talking with the marina tomorrow , I doubt they will have an issue. Kids prizes are another thing, any help there will be great. Any prizes for the kids division that are not given out will be going to Basswax and his organization. But we need to start getting some stuff together.

Benbrrok or Granburry and oyu might draw a crowd. I have a really good refrigerant scale that yall can borrow for your weigh in if you like. Frank knows where my place is if he can pick it up.

You might talk to the owner of Benbrook Marina they might like to have it there. His name is Ron Rogers. Don runs the marina and is there during the day. The marina number is 817-249-1173..

what the heck.. ill drive to BB or GB or wherever.. i wanted to do this on a lake i knew like RR, or lavon, or RH...but this is for a greater cause than me right....im in wherever. if the focus is still on showing some of the newer guys some of the ropes of spring stickin..

id do it at granbury just to get my grandpa back in a pair of waders..that old man aint wet a jig in a while..but i bet hed still sack em up..lol, if it dont conflict with his daily golf game at the CC.

Not trying to replace any of the events around Dallas. Just trying to get something over this way. You guys out in west texas are welcome to. Its an hour and a half closer to you than some of the others.
Seems like there may be enough intrest. We need to try to put this together. I think a kids event needs to be included. Who wants to help plan this?
