Its almost time for the Lake Worth Workingmans to kick off for 2010! Tournaments will start on March 17th and run through early September with a 1 day Championship, date TBA. This year there will not be a points race, you must fish 1 Wed nighter to qualify for the championship.

Here are the specifics:

Location : 820 Ramp

Hours : 6pm-9pm

Entry Fee $30 per boat (Big Bass Included)

$10 Optional Side Pot Winner Take All

The team finishing 1st out of the money will receive a free entry to the following weeks tournament.

The team finishing second out of the money will receive a Talon Lures Tackle Pack.


1st Tournament of the year will be March 17th so mark your calenders, get your lake permits, and go find the fish!

This year we are proud to have Talon Custom Lures back on board as a sponsor, and we recently added River A Tackle as well.

lets hope there is a early bird tourne the week before, say like 2.30 or 3 till dark, good time last year, plus give me a excuse too leave work early

Buda, I like the format and cant wait to get started. I really enjoyed fishing with you guys the last couple of years. its always been a fun tourny. Who's running them this year? I really like starting at the 820 ramp as well(its alot closer to those ledges that have my brushpiles on them). If yall have any of those sat or sun tournys before then let me and Fatt Matt know.

This year Vince and I will be alternating weeks similar to last year. I am also very excited about being back at the new and improved 820 ramp, we should be able to get everyone launched in half the time it took at Casino. As of right now there we dont have any Sat or Sunday tournaments planned, as we get closer I am sure a few will come together. Looking forward to seeing everyone on March 17th!

Glad to see the 820 ramp open again too. It cuts about 20 minutes off having to go through Lake Worth to get to the ramp.

Dang, I'm still getting the damage to the boat from last season repaired.

Are spares allowed? I know I'm just pseudo East Texas WT now but if spares are allowed I may fish a few.

Mark your trailer is too nice to be full fledged East Texas WT. Once you get a couple of broke down cars in the driveway thats when they gotta stop letting you fish.

OH wait, If they make that rule, then most of Lake Worth can't even fish it.
