I have been kayak fishing for about a year. My two best buddies got me started. Im here to tell you that u dont need a 40,000 dollar bass boat to catch big fish. Matt the brother of my best friend andy caught a 9.4 out of lake waco and Andy caught 7.1 out of the bosque river yesturday. I cant wait till its my turn. We are just a bunch of blessed teenager who has got a long roed ahead of us.Here is a picture of the 7. laugh

Ah-Ha! A gang of back-to-basics juvenile delinquent fishing addicts! What are we to do? It must be stopped! Such attitudes could lead to responsible behavior, independence, success and even happiness! LOL. There is a lot more right about this country's youth than the media and politicians would have us believe - you guys keep it up and god bless you.

In this life there is fly fishing and tying...and then there is all that other stuff in between that doesn't matter.

That's the way, my friend. I spent sat. in the yak soaking wet, fighting wind, pulling hooks out of my hands, and untying knots; and all I have to show for it is sore muscles, but I would not trade it for a $40,000 boat.Working hard builds character and pay off is that much sweeter. The fish are thinking about food, not how much your boat cost.

Yak_FisherMan33--

Your post has much wisdom in it, possibly more than you realize.

Good job.

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

Keep it up gentlemen.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Way to set the hook guys. Keep up the good fishing and watch those grades. Glad to see those life vests on you. Congrats and keep posting.
