On Saturday the 9th of January at Nails Creek State Park we are putting on a Somerville creek fishing seminar . We will have a pancake breakfast to start and then several opportunities to learn, teach or talk fishing, then we will wrap it up with a fish fry at the late afternoon social.
If you have a talent or speciality and are willing to help please let me know! Several TFF'ers are already on board and will be at the event but there is always room for YOU!

The State Park has kayaks and canoes to rent They have 4 singles/2 tandems and several canoes; they rent for $5 per hour. I'm gonna see if I can get the park staff to offer shuttle service to Newmans Bottom for the day or maybe have some volunteers do it.. This is going to be a great day at the park!
For your friends or spouses that don't fish maybe they would like to come and just enjoy birding and nature walks. Gary Fritcher will be there to lead birding walks during the day close to the park..
