What size of a trolling moter is recommended for an 18 foot flat bottom alumiumn boat? I will take it out on Tawakoni, Cooper, etc.

I would say no less then 55lb thrust with 42" shaft

If you have room for 2 batterys...get a 24 volt, 70 pound or up.You wont regret it when the winds blows.Its always better to have the power when you need.

Both Minn-Kota and Motorguide have sections on their websites to help you select a trolling motor, by the way....
