Greetings to all from River Run Guide Service located on the scenic Middle/Upper Brazos River located in North Central Texas.

After gathering customer data and feedback over the last few months, I've decided to make a significant adjustment to my current single Angler pricing structure.

For the remainder of 2009, I'm offering 8 hour single Angler trips for $295.00. That is $100.00 less than my current single Angler rate of $395.00.

As usual, I will furnish everything required for our trip with the exception of food, drink, snacks, proper attire and TP&W
licensing.

I have over 20 years experience fishing for Texas most popular gamefish on the Middle/Upper Brazos River and I am willing to share with you my extensive knowledge of stalking them via kayak. It will be my pleasure to teach you firsthand the difference that can make in a days fishing.

So...

Wheather your thinking about or just getting getting started kayak fishing Texas rivers and lakes or a hardened kayak fishing vetran wanting to take it to the next level, now is the time to do it with River Run Guide Service.

For some of the finest one on one service and river kayak fishing instruction available in Texas, give Shane Davies a call @ 214-418-9786 or PM/e-mail me s.davies@sbcglobal.net.

I'll be more than happy to discuss trip availablity or any other questions you might have.

Don't forget. With River Run Guide Service it's "no fish, no pay since 1994".

David A. from Grapevine was the first angler to take advantage of my new Single Angler Special.

Although this was his first kayak fishing experience, David wound up having, by his account "my best fishing trip in over a year".

With well over 30 fish of multiple species CPR'd during our trip, David was all smiles...

This homely Buffalo slammed David's crankbait mid-retrieve in some heavy current. Not what we were looking for, but gave a good account of itself, none the less!

There were also quite a few of these guys hanging around the river.

Caught plenty of Greenies all day long.

Nice Spottie!

Dave, hooked up hard.

Nice fish, man!

Even I managed to quit talking long enough to grab a rod and and pick off a cruising largemouth. rolfmao

Conratulations on your catches, Dave. Thanks for the opportunity of getting to share a day on the Brazos with you and re-hash old accuaintances. thumb

In regards to fishing and folks, Texas can feel like a pretty small place sometimes. wink

Until next time...

Nice fish, when I lived in Mineral Wells I would hit the river if I did'nt have time to hit P.K. and would catch a little bit of everything, but nothing like the trifecta of bass and cats I saw you with on the kayak forum. Hey have you seen old John Nash around? I have not been up that way but once since the first fish kill. If you ever see him tell him that his old golfing buddy from Fort Worth passed away a couple months ago, he would have been 101 last month, he will know who I'm talking about.
Do you do much good if you put in at Fortune Bend or Rochelle's?
I caught a 12 lb'er striper under the HIGH LINES down from the west river bridge heading towards Oak Crossing.
After the algae hit do you think there is another record striper in the river at present? Go get 'em!!

That is a bargain. I previously had a trip with him and had a blast. Shane will put you on some fish.

Hi, Sumfish.

I have not seen John in about a month.

He has been good friend and almost like a father to me since the early 90's.

Nash has a heart of pure gold and is one of the finest people you will ever meet.

One of the best river bass fisherman to ever wet a hook in the Brazos, as well.

PM me your name and I'll tell him you said hello. I'll also give him the unfortunate news about his golfing buddy passing away.

As for fishing...

It's good all over the river right now. However, I don't believe there is a striper in there right now that can overtake the existing 53 plus pound State Record. The potential is still there. However, we are going to need some extended gate activity and angler conservation before that can occur.

Although, one of my clients did CPR the new Texas Catch & Release State Record of 42" back in June. I've also seen two of the largest Hybrids ever documented come from the Brazos over the last few years. One of them is the existing Brazos Water Body Record of 17.97 pounds that I caught in Jan. 08.

Thanks for posting!
