Denton Hi Noon Lions will host their 1st Annual Tournament on Lake Ray Roberts. There will be a guaranteed payback for 1st($1500), 2nd ($1000) and 3rd ($750). Entry fee will be $150 per team and $20 for big bass. This tournament has no relation to the tournament that is being held in September. We are looking for corporate or individual sponsors for $200. Your name will be displayed on a banner at the event. Please go to http://www.dentonlions.org/fishing-tournament.html for an entry form and tournament rules. We would like to pay more than three. Once our club has reached its goal of $2500 dollars we intend on paying out the rest in places. So, it is based on the number of entries. So get signed up and tell all your buddies. It looks like we are going to have a great turn out.

Here are the tournament specifics.
Location: Jordan Park in Pilot Point
Time: Check in at 5:30am. You can start fishing at 6:30 as long as your live well has been checked.
Weigh in: 3:00pm... 1 lb penalty for every minute late.
I will be there in a white Chevy pickup.

On behalf of the Denton Hi Noon Lions, I would like to thank everyone who participated in our tournament. We had a good turn out and some nice bags brought in.
1st place went to Brian and Mac McCrary- 23.30 lbs
2nd place went to Bryan Jones and Jess Woodson- 11.63 lbs
3rd place went to Bill Lacer- 11.03 lbs
Big Bass went to Mark Howard- 6.25 lbs
Thank you again. Look for us again in 2010.
