I am pleased to have the opportunity to host this very special bass fishing tournament fundraiser to help raise the needed funds to send the Flower Mound Dawgs Youth Baseball Team to Cooperstown!

This tournament is part of the 2009 Bass Pro Shop - Grapevine Tournament Series and will be the final "Double Point Major" qualifier! The tournament is "open" to all anglers and you may compete as a two-angler team or as an individual.

If you enjoyed the "Britteny Lindt Memorial Bass Classic" and the "Dual BIG BASS & Stringer" events, you will not want to miss this event! We will have incredible raffle prizes, a pitching contest to win a roundtrip for two on Southwest Airlines, food and drink for all who attend, the boys will be wiping down all boats when you come off the water!

When I approached Scott Gordon about the possibility of helping our baseball team do a fundraiser in conjunction with a bass tournament, he was more than willing to offer any resource that he has to make this happen. "I want to publicly thank you Scott for your so gracious gesture. You are a fine, caring individual." Also, I would like to thank all the fine folks here on this forum for their support in either donations for the raffle or for supporting the event by fishing in the tournament.

We now have two weeks until the tournament. Everything is in place and as mrbass24 asked about needing to be present during the raffle to win.....no, you do not have to. If there are forum readers out there that would be interested in supporting our cause, I will gladly hand deliver raffle tickets to you if you live around the DFW area..........another awesome way for me to meet more of the great TFF family. By the way, the raffle tickets will sell for $5 each or 5 for $20.

The boys on the team will be traveling to Cooperstown, NY next summer. They are really looking forward to this "trip of a lifetime" and would really appreciate your generosity in helping them make this dream come true.
