 ALL NIGHT BASS TOURNAMENT OF FORT PHANTOM

On Friday, August 7th Callahan County Bass Club will be having an All Night Bass Tournament on Lake Fort Phantom. The entry fee will be $20 plus an optional $5 for big bass. The tournament will start Friday night at 8:00 PM and conclude Saturday morning at 7:00 AM. Headquarters will be at the Crows Nest Ramp. This tournament will be a five (5) fish stringer with the minimum length of 16". If you have any questions please fell free to ask.

Can you fish for other species also if you are fishing the all night bass tournament? Can you catfish and have catfish in your boat or run jugs or trotlines while on the lake all night?

Can you fish for other species also if you are fishing the all night bass tournament? Can you catfish and have catfish in your boat or run jugs or trotlines while on the lake all night? AmmoJoe Im not 100% sure but as long as you cacth your bass on a rod and reel with an artifical lure than I guess you can get catfish of your trotline. But you cant keep bass off of the trotline. But the people that see you may make it contriversial. But when you register for the tournament ask me again so I can make sure about that rules.

Well we only had 12 people show up but the fishing seemed to be good for some. 1st place went to Troy Moore with 5 fish 21.58. Troy also had big bass with a 6.84. 2nd went to Bud Williams with 5 fish 20.64.
