A week ago I was fishing at Leftwich Park and hooked into a couple that surprised me and nearly took the rod out of my hand. They would have been great catches, but one broke the swivel and the other snapped the line. One time I was at that same park and a guy showed me a pic on his cell phone of an 8-pound bass he caught there.

They can be found. The Canyon Lakes have good #s, but not good size. Some of the playas do have good bass in them.
Alan Henry is great. Buffalo used to be okay, but they got hit hard by golden algae.
