On Saturday, August 22, 2009, the
Young Texans Against Cancer, San Antonio Chapter, First Annual “Bay Bash” is being held in Port Aransas, Texas. This is the first of an annual redfish and trout fishing tournament to be put on by the San Antonio Chapter of YTAC.
Included with a boat/team entry fee, each team receives four T-Shirts (or Columbia Shirts with an upgrade), four tickets to the awards dinner and on-site fish fry, baggo/washers/ladder golf tournament, auction, and music.

A Check-in Mixer is being held Friday, August 21, 2009, the night before the Tournament, at the Back Porch Bar in Port Aransas, Texas from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Weigh-in is being held between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2009, followed by the awards dinner from beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Port Aransas City Park Marina.
The Tournament is also looking for sponsorships, so please consider becoming a Sponsor—it is a great cause and provides excellent exposure for your company or firm. Information regarding sponsorships is available at the website, at
www.ytacfishing.com.Your family is welcome to join in the festivities—just order extra dinner tickets and/or shirts when you register your team. If not fishing with you they can enjoy the beach while you are on the water. A daytime “Beach-Party” is also in the works for family and friends who attend but do not fish in the Tournament.
The proceeds of the Tournament will benefit the ThriveWell Cancer Foundation, which was established exclusively for the charitable purposes of providing physical and financial support for persons suffering with cancer [and their families], during and after treatment, and providing support for cancer research.
