JUST LETTING YALL KNOW IVE FOUND A NEW LAKE HERE IN EAST TEXAS...WELL IVE HAD MY ON BOAT NOW FOR ABOUT 10 YRS...ONLY WISH I WOULD VENTURED OUT ALITTLE AN TRIED NEW LAKES...IVE PRETTY MUCH ONLY FISHED LAKE FORK FOR 10 YRS... OH IVE FISHED LAKE QUITMAN AN T WOK A FEW TIME...NEVER HAV I GONE OUT ON LAKE FORK AN SLAYED THE FISH LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE TELLS ME THEY DO...PLUS THE DOUBLE DIGIT FISH WHICH IS OUR GOAL AS A FISHERMEN...8LB IS THE BIGGEST FISH IVE CAUGHT OUT OF FORK AN IVE FISHED IT HARD FOR THE LAST 3 YRS ...SO A FRIEND OF MINE AN HIS DAD GO ON A GUID TRIP TO LAKE COOPER THEY HAV A GREAT TRIP WISH I KNEW THE GUIDES NAME BUT DONT...ALL I KNOW IS THEY SLAYED THEM UP THERE..SO I LOAD UP THE BOAT WITH A FRIEND FROM WORK AN WE HEAD TO COOPER...MAN IT WAS ONE OF THE FUNNEST TRIPS WE SLAYED THE HYBRIDS (BIG) AN THE SANDIES..WELL I TAKE MY DAD UP THERE A COUPLE DAY LATER AN WE DIDNT EVEN CATCH ONE HYBRID BUT DID MANAGE TO CATCH A FEW SANDIES...BUT DAD IS WORE OUT AN READY TO GO HOME I TELL HIM LET EASE OVER TO THIS LITTLE SAND BAR FOR A FEW MORE CAST LORD AN BEHOLD WHAT I THOUGHT WAS I WAS HUNG UP BUT NO SIR I WAS IN FOR ONE HECK OF A FIGHT WITH WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A GIANT LAKE COOPER HYBRID I TOLD DAD TO GET THE NET THAT WHAT EVER IT WAS IT IS BIG...SHE FINALLY SHOWED HERSELF IT WAS A GIANT LARGEMOUTH BASS I HAV BEEN LOOKING FOR ALL THESE YRS I GOT HER IN AN SHE WEIGHT 10.1..I KNOW HAV A NEW LAKE AN ITS CALLED LAKE COOPER...HOPE TO SEE YALL THERE.

Steve Pebley is the only guide i know of on cooper. It don't get much better than him on that lake.

RANGER185JRP. Glad you had a great day on the lake and congrats on your PB. Don't take this as critizism just useful information. I know you are new to the computer and here is a little tip. It is considered shouting to post with all caps. Also it is easier to read when your post is not in all caps. Make sure your caps lock key is off (should be a lite on your keyboard letting you know if it is on or off). Hope to see you at Cooper some day. Watch the reports on this site to know when a good time to go to Cooper might be.

this is a very soft and quiet post. steve pebley is a very good guide. he will put ya on fish. i love cooper and can't wait to fish it very soon.

Cooper is a good lake with some huge Red Ear Bluegill!!!! Can't wait to get back there and get into those bad boys
