I am writing to let everyone know that my buddy&I jerked the lips off the sandies today. We were on the water at 0745 30 fish in the boat by 0815. Chasing the birds and hammering the points with smoke, chrome, bleeding shad rattle traps. By 0900 we both had our limit, and still catching em!! It was a major blessing for us today on the water. Good luck to everyone this weekend....

I was having the same problem with the stripers. All were to small by a couple of inches. Is there a place better on the lake that are good for the stripers??

i have been dragging little piggie purch about half the size of my hand on a carlina rig under the birds an feeding sandie's and catching some really nice striper and catfish. biggest striper was 18.15lbs. he is still out there eating. caught 2 cats 25 lbs +. the thing about it is to resist the temptation to catch them sandies. Because win the big striper bit you need to have the button pushed so you can let the line long enough to get the piggie in his lips good. if they feel the littlest of pressure they let it go. set the hook and hang on!!! YEEEEE HAWWWWW
