HEY GUYS, I'VE BEEN A MEMBER FOR A LITTLE WHILE NOW, JUST NEVER POSTED MUCH. I HAVE RECENTLY MET CHRIS RAWLINGS AND WE WERE DISCUSSING TOURNEMENTS DURING THE WEEK HERE ON GRAPEVINE.
WE'VE DECIDED THAT WE WOULD LIKE TO HOLD A WEDNESDAY NITE TOURNEY.
WE WOULD LIKE TO START NEXT WEDNESDAY THE 8TH............

There is another tourney already on thursday nights on the vine,plus all the weekend bps tourney's and club tourney's.Not knocking your tourney,but there is alot of pressure on the vine as it is.So if you call it your hometown lake then maybe just fish the thursday tourney and give the lake alittle time off.Just my .02 cents.

wed on the vine is a tradition that has gone on for decades and alot of us cant fish on thursdays and saturdays. the vine has been pressured for years and is only getting better. heck, when i was the Wed nite TD back in the ninties only a couple of overs would be weighed a month. now you need to have 4-5 to win...

Any chance on getting a lower entry fee? I've always thought 70$ for 3.5 hours was a bit high.

I had planned to fish the Thursday night tournament and just got my son's t-ball schedule last week and he plays on 5 of the next 8 thursday nights. So if I want to fish this will have to be the night for me until June. As far as resting the lake, when I practice fished last year I was not alone on all those nights that where not Wednesday nights.

this tournament is for those who either cant make Thursdays or just want to fish in as many tournaments as possible. there is a group of us that have been fishing Weds for the last 10+yrs and are going to continue that, so come on out and join us as we kick-off the spring of '09 season. looking forward to a great year on the vine!
