Figured with the front coming in tuesday night that was going to be the afternoon to fish. Cloudy, overcast, humid, and just a little breeze what more could you ask for when striper fishing. Went to thousand trail by the trees found the birds and it was on. 28 ft. of water we caught 15 hybrids that we keepers, and probably 100 sandbass or more. Hybrids (up to 10 pounds) came off of live shad and sandbass mostly on slabs. The greatest thing about it is we were the only boat on the south end of the lake the whole afternoon. Awesome afternoon.

I fished Hubbard that day. I wanted to hit Twak soooooo bad, but had some business to take care of at Hubbard. It was a dang good day there as well.

I was there Tuesday afternoon but missed out on them at Tall Man. I must not have taken a close enough look while I was down on that end. It was extremely rough down there around 2-3 pm. I went to the smoother side of the lake to hide from the wind. Had to go North a little before we found them. Once we found them it was a pretty heavy dose of hybrids & sandies. I love that lake.
